I'm sure you're aware, too, that Void Linux is not technically supported. That doesn't mean you're doomed, but if you're open to migrating distros you'd have an easier time using Ubuntu, or at least something closely related (like Mint, or better yet, Debian.) Void Linux uses runit rather than systemd (which is used by most mainstream linux distros at this point), so the difference is not a small one.
It says that and then aborted afterward.
I recently reinstalled Void but prior to that CKII ran just fine on void. I don't know what the difference is between that install and this one.
Might have to do with not using the proprietary drivers. If so I guess I just won't play CK2, I have no problems launching anything else including windows games using proton.
Like most people running linux I started out with Ubuntu and Linux Mint. If I wanted to be using either of those I would be.
