Mouse only controls?

I'm wondering if you can you play this with the mouse only? Because of a disability I can only play games using the mouse only and without the keyboard.

I believe so, it will just be harder to navigate around the map and certain hotkeys, but yes, it is managable.

Yes sir. I am almost ceratin you are able to. 99% certain.

Yep as Preacher said.. and you can zoom in and out of the map with the mouse wheel

I never memorized the hotkeys so I use mouse almost exlusively (99% of functions can be performed with just the mouse).

The only key I use often is the space bar to pause. You can also skip that (clicking the date on the top right does the same thing) but hitting space is a lot faster. Of course you can play at a slightly slower speed so you don't have to pause instantly.

What I haven't found a way to do with the mouse yet is opening the menu for save/load/exit (I press Esc). Of course for the save you can rely on autosave but I don't know how else one can reload and/or exit. I hope other people help more with that.

yes you can do pretty much everything with clicks...You just won't be able to give names to your kids without typing. that's about it.

If one ownes Monk n Mystics, there is a feature/button to re-roll kids' names until you get a desired one.

I never use the keyboard for CK2.... I have played this game forever with just the mouse...

the only time I use the keyboard is to type Genius or Quick into the search feature of the character finder....

And with the Monk and Mystic dlc, you can join "Lucifer own", and then you can use the 'Dark heal' power to heal your disability.

Yes. You can %99 of things only with mouse..

Rebind spacebar to the mouse, and you'll be fine.

Searching for titles and specific characters is not absolutely necessary for gameplay, and is ordinarily done while paused, so doesn't matter if you use some kind of slower 3rd party typing interface.

I don't know much about your handicap or what hardware you have already to help with it, but playing with just the mouse is not only entirely doable, but with a gaming mouse with some extra thumb buttons, like a logitech G600 it's not even inconvenient in the slightest.

I'm a lazy guy, if I can play a game with just one hand I'll do it and my G600 is perfect for that.
