Bulgarian Conquest

Hi, guys.

I’ve decided to share my experience with you.
I will upload what’s happening with me on every 10 or 20 years, depending on the rate of interesting things.
I just started playing with Khan Telerig from Bulgaria. Year is 769.

I’ll set a few goals and see what is going to happen.

-One of my major goals is to conquer whole Europe.
-My current goal is to Invade Byzantine Empire for Bulgaria and Greece.

I’ve never before played as a khan and is quite intensive.
When I just started 3 of my vassals gone to war.
I was like, ok that’s something new.
I usually have played like Orthodox King and the stuff there go very smoothly.
But now for 10 years of rulership, my vassals have gone for 5 wars.
My most powerful vassal Invade Byzantine Empire and failed, but I really liked the spirit.
Another one tried to liberate Maldau(northwest from Black Sea), but failed too.
Anyway the High Chief of Wallachia (Northern Bulgaria) conquered Rashka (big part of Serbia).
The good thing is that I really like the diplomacy and can focus on it while they are waging war.
I made only one war for Hum (part of Serbia) and won it without a problem.
I also got two peasants revolts in my Capital Tyrnovo.
The duke of Adrianopolis (Byzantine Empire) tried to take some land from me, but failed.
There was a lot of factions against me.
Also a lot of plots in the realm.
The heir of the duchy of Maldau is my heir, and I am second in line for the duchy of Wallachia (the duke also had the duchy of Vidin – northwest Bulgaria).
My spymaster caught the dukes of Maldau and Wallachia starting or involving in plots.
Since I am in the Plaguebringers community I sacrificed them to Elrik and they disappeared without a trace.
Since my heir (Krum, the duke of Karvuna) inherit Maldau and I will inherit Wallachia and Vidin, after the death of Telerig (me) I wil have all titles in my realm and I can pass it to young content and honest loyal lads.
What I see is that, when you play with Khaganate the rulership is extremely aggressive. You also have penalty if you not wage war for long time.
There is a minus, because you lack strong tengri and it is hard to make alies.
Good relations with Byzantine are something that can’t happen and something I don’t want since I want big part of them.
Avars are weak and Magyar Tribe is falling apart. Serbia isn’t on the map. Once Byzantine is pushed off in Asia I’ll become the most powerful country in Eastern Europe. And then my journey can begin.
I’ll try to stay tengri for as long as possible so I can invade Europe. After conquering it I can convert to orthodox and try to Invade Asia.
