Marrying a Queen from another land
I married a queen from another land. She came over to my land but still remains queen of her land.
I was trying to improve that land but its not in my realm.

Other than creating an heir which gets it all, is there anyway to get that land to be part of my realm?

I married a count from Ireland when playing as wessex and never got her land, just an alliance (and a kid who would inherit my and her land)
So unless you get a claim on her land with your chancellor, then revoke her title as the main claimant I am not sure myself

... why would you get her land anyway? It's hers and just because you married her doesn't mean you have any rights to it.
Basically, just as in real life, land and titels are connected to inheritance. Meaning you can only gain land by inheriting it and not by just marrying someone who owns it.
If you want to own her lands, you'll either have to take it by force (by forging a claim, etc.) or wait for your both the King and Queen to die so that their heir can inherit both of their lands.

I want it to defend it and build it up. Todays property law puts all property into a joint ownership which I guess I was expecting when marrying her. Instead it seems the game follows title law.

You can still defend her (land) by forming an alliance.

How can she be a landed noble and still came over to your lands? Landed nobles never go to other people's courts, they have their own.

Either you misread her title on her portrait as 'Queen of X' (X being your realm) or she is ruling in her own right, which means it is two separate kingdoms that your heir will inherit (Unless her succession laws are different or she has older children who will inherit) in which case you (Your heir) get a claim on it when she dies. There is no way a landed character is able to join your court with the exception of if they are on the council, which places them there as a technicality.

Regardless I recommend you defend her and push for your heirs rights to her land, case in point, in a Capet game, my heir became my grandson after my heirs wife (Queen of Galicia) murdered him. When she died and I was the grandson, the crown was elective but I was able to push my claim and take my birthright. That line of the family didn't last long anyways after that though, about 4 kings later, all of whom ruled a collective 50 years it went extinct and passed to a distant cousin. Kept Galicia though.

Happened to me too! I married a daughter of Norway after my first wife died and she came to my land. I got an event notice that I could fight for her claim on it. So I did and won. She ended up getting the entire country under her control, plus the nickname "the Usurper" and moved there for a bit, think it was about a year. After she gave birth to another son (via me somehow, confirmed through event chains) she came back to my court and was still queen of Norway!

I was playing as Konan, for the Monarch's Journey challenges. I was really confused because I never saw this before.

I've never seen a landed character come to anothers court unless it was changed recently. Even if your spouse has land the game still factors children. I guess in game there is a lot of honeymooning or something Idk.

Yep she was a queen of some land. 17 years old. I killed her betroth earlier on. When we married she became queen on my land and moved to my court but was still queen of her land. I was just a husband with nothing else there.
