can't siege tribal
Im playing as a fudel Toaist Han in tabet the old gods bookmark. when i declare war on my tribal neighbors it tells me i need to have a larger army than the defenders to siege them dispite me haveing 8k units to 500 defenders, is this right or a bug?

Soembody else is likely in the province and already sieging.

no its just me, Im the only one at war with them and its every province they have that saays this.

I had similar issues I forget what somewhat resolved it I was able to only siege parts of the person I was at war with. (YES that territory was at active war with me too)

Such thing happened with me before werei wasn't able to siege some tribal holding, turned out i had a nonaggression pact with that county owner.
Even though i was at war with his liege i couldn't siege down his holdings.
