Character Portrait Age - Changing Age Change?

So, maybe I am getting sensitive to he fact that I myself am getting older....but...

I was curious if there is a way for me to change the Age Transition for the Character Portraits.
Currently its something like...
0-15 Child
16-29 Young Adult
30-49 Older Adult
50-99 Elderly
100+ Monsterious Looking Zombie Thing.

I wanted to change it so that its more like...

0-15 Child
16-35 Young Adult
36-50 Older Adult
51-99 Elder

Is there a file or something I could edit ?

Id love it if I could just get the Immortality thing at a younger age but the youngest Ive ever had that pop was 42 -.-

Don't know about changing age for portrait used, think it is likely possible to do.
However< if your not playing Ironman then once you get the immortal trait simply console your age to whatever so your portrait appearance is what you want.

Sadly I always use Ironman now....as Cheating is too much of a temptation now and then....

Well short of a mod (which would likely disable ironman mode anyways) maybe try building a wonder with the fountain of youth. Believe it decreases your age by 2 years every time you use it though it does have like a 10 year cool down between uses which shouldn't matter if your already immortal.

Already using it.It irks me looking old so much so that in the current game im playing none of my characters have lived past the age of 50 except for my very first one and one other who was trying to get the warrior lodge blood line....the rest never make it past 50 cause I end up "retiring" them from depression/duels as soon as my new 16 year old heir is ready to go.

You can just edit the defines.lua file using something like notepad++ and under the ncharacter section you'll see some lines that says...
PORTRAIT_ADULT_MALE_AGE_THRESHOLD = 14, -- Male child to adult age portrait switch
PORTRAIT_ADULT_FEMALE_AGE_THRESHOLD = 14, -- Female child to adult age portrait switch
PORTRAIT_MID_AGE_THRESHOLD = 40, -- Middle age switch for character portraits
PORTRAIT_OLD_AGE_THRESHOLD = 60, -- Old age switch for character portraits

Those are the ones you want to edit(mine is already edited so characters gain their adult portrait at 14, mid age at 40(instead of default 30) and old age at 60(instead of default 50))

Of course doing so WILL prevent achievements as your checksum WILL change. (but can still play Ironman to resist urge to console/savescum, just no steam achievements)

Yeah I already got the achievements I was gonna bother getting, I more or less play ironman now just to prevent myself from cheating\savescuming.

but I will use this !

I did this and it changed the portrait of all characters in the game (did it to the extreme as my character is 700 years old), is there a way of editing the save game for just my character portrait?

Interesting concept, Though i think a random age would be better.. Ever see someone that is 25 and looks 40? or 50 and you could swear they were 28?

Though seeing this game is done, sounds like a neat idea for CKIII
