Headhunter achievement, Duelist bloodline
With 0,10% of the players currently having this achievement, it is one of the rarest to get. I thought I'd brag about how I got it, perhaps it'll help someone. It took me about 10 tries and a deal of luck to get it.

TLDR:
Be a pagan tribe. Get involved in a warrior lodge.
First generation should focus on getting border to multiple raid targets and collect artifacts, raise a warrior heir and die in good time.
Raid as much as you can, and take married women as concubines.
Get ALL the rivals you can, and duel them.
Try to build up ~ -50 merciless opinion before letting it cool down.
Try to avoid building up too high "dishonourable duel" opinion malus.
The legendary gathering is a good source of ruthless duel exp, and a bloodline from it is a nice achievement on it's own as well as giving higher combat skill.
If the duelist lifestyle doesn't trigger from duels, you should pick it from your warrior lodge (choose military aspect).

To get the bloodline/achievement, you need:
Duelist trait
50 duel exp and 20 ruthless duel exp (20 kills in duels)
80 duel exp or 10 sneaky duel exp
Not already have a duelist bloodline
Once you fulfill that, the bloodline can trigger after you duel someone (possible that you need to win the duel as well for it to trigger).

I guess the sneaky duel is the ones you stage beforehand, I had no problems with getting 80 duel exp. It was the kills that was the problem for me.

In order to do this, I needed to be able to raid, and to duel my foes. So I started as a norse pagan, and became part of the warrior lodge for more duels and personal combat skill. My first generation character merely laid the foundation for the bloodline, it was the second generation (that I was fortunate enough to start with at an early age) that got the bloodline. So the first generation got borders towards some heathens, crafted a set of armour, looted a sword, made sure the heir got a military background and traits suitable for combat, and recruited the heir to the warrior lodge for a headstart there.

What I did was basicly to raid intensely and took all the married female prisoners I could as concubines, as their former husbands sometimes becomes your rival that way. And I constantly antagonized someone as that also might lead to rivalry. And I picked all other events that could trigger a rivalry. In a warrior lodge, or with the war lifestyle, you can duel your rivals and that's what I did as often as I could. I was a bit more careful with who I dueled at first, as previous attempts had failed from being too bold with dueling skilled rivals.

In the end, among the people I killed in personal combat were 2 polar bears, my son and my daughter (rivalry from upbringing events). At the lowest, I had -120 general opinion from being merciless in duels, and -60 from dishonourable duels (I still had high opinion from women as my duelist sex appeal overruled everything else). This did not make my sprawling realm easy to manage... Curiously, a duel can be dishonourable if you fight someone less wounded and younger than you are yourself. And you can lose a duel even if you have 300+ higher combat skill than your opponent.

The duelist trait triggered for me after about 50 duels, but if it doesn't trigger you can just choose military aspect when you reach level 4 in your warrior lodge. Another bonus from the warrior lodge is the legendary gathering, which (once completed) is another nice achievement, a few duel kills with no merciless malus, and even more personal combat skill.

Thanks for this guide- I was able to knock out this achievement with my starting character, the High Chief Dugu Duguwa of Kanem in 769.

At game start, he is 17, and always starts with the Strong genetic trait. And, if you keep re-rolling until you get a decent martial education, he has a great foundation to become a master duelist.

Here he is after several decades of cutting down his foes:

I had to do it with an immortal character to have enough time.
There can be only one.
