Automatically redistribute landed titles upon your vassals?
I just had a massive invasion war which I won. I have a TON of Duchies, etc. Is there any way to automatically distribute them among my Vassals?

I'm afraid that's going to be very hard.

Then youll just have to do it the hard way. Use the looking for people option, select your realm and males adults only and go through the list looking for the best candidates and right click give them land.

Well, then. Is there no mod for a kind of "title reform" thing or something?

Assuming your an empire you could simply hand out the accordingt kingdom title(s) to your heir and let him do the business. With that of course goes the risk of assasination of the heir or the heir taking up bad traits or still turning against you, etc..

I'm the Byzantine Empire, however I have most of the arabic side of the mediterranean coast up to Egypt, Croatia, and northern/southern Italy.

And I have given out most of the larger titles, but I still have a massive amount of tiny titles that I have to distribute.

if you want to get rid of a large number of titles you don't care about, use the "include lower titles" checkbox. that way you only have to hand out the kingdoms or duchies and the dudes that get them will have to distribute all the irrelevant small stuff below.

If you are at 4+ over max demesne size, there should be a decision to get help distributing your titles.

Handing out awards after a Holy War is always the trickiest part of a successful military campaign for me.

In my (limited) experience, I have had success giving out counties (and minor titles within them) to my most powerful and disgruntled vassals (easy to determine once you sort them by opinion). After the counties are handed out, all the recipients will love you for years.

Afterwards (with the game still on pause), look to see if any vassal in the newly acquired duchy is still not hugely loyal to you yet -- and then give them the duchy.

In addition to creating a pile of very adoring vassals, this will let you raise their troops in absurdly far-flung places. (For example, I can raise all the armies of France, England, Castille & Hungary in the Red Sea on the first day of a new war... which is admittedly, a silly exploit).

Of course, if you have some courtiers with strong claims to potential future conquests, reserve a newly acquired barony for them.

Whatever you do, DON"T do that! The AI is atrocious at handing out titles.

Agreed. It's best to go Duchy by Duchy. Give them a county, Include lower titles, then duchy include lower titles.. rinse, repeat.

That method can create accidental MRs & Theocracies. It's best to auto-generate all city and temple vassals first.

I also land a lot of dynasty members as dukes because I like to play with Elective and the electors/candidates being mostly of your dynasty makes it much easier.

Not to mention that it does wonders for dynasty-prestige AND since there is a relation-bonus category for dynasty-members its usually easier to keep those happy with the help of artefacts, great works etc.

Last time i used the auto feature after winning a holy war vs france it just put all the mayors/priests in. It didnt do anything with the counties, had to do all that ♥♥♥♥ myself lol.
