Not able to choose Eldership succession
Hi all,

In my current game, a question comes to my mind. I started in 769 as High Chief Krum of Karvuna in Bulgaria. Now I am playing as his heir, who is now a Romuva Lithuanian independent ruler. I wanted to change my succession law in order to get Eldership, but it seems that I can't do this. I can only choose Gavelkind or Elective Gavelkind.

I am a feudal ruler, do I have to be tribal in order to get Eldership succession? Or is it something else? I have read the Eldership topic on the wiki but I couldn't find anything on this.

Thanks.

Is the romuvan religion still unreformed? Afaik eldership is only automatically part of it when its unreformed to have it still when reformed I think (not 100% sure) you have to pick certain traits for it.

Yes, Romuva is still unreformed. The Baltic tribes currently have the Eldership succession. That is why I was asking.

hmm weird, havent played a romuvan dynasty into feudalism since before holy fury came out but can't find anything in the wiki that its tribe only.

If you are unreformed you have to be tribal to use eldership succession. It's only available to non-tribals when it's part of a reformed religion. :)
