Seduction doesn't work

Brawny, gregarious, and dip 16. Can't seduce anyone, even if they are lustful with 100 opinion of me. What is going on?

What option do you choose when you try to seduce? Try the lewd option, that one has a very high chance of success when you are seducing someone Lustful.

PS. Brawny and Gregarious do not help with regular seduction, though Gregarious helps if you get a random event to seduce concubines. Weird, I know. High opinion of you helps, though.

Intrigue does not help with seduction (except for not getting caught by jealous spouses). This is also kinda weird, especially since its modifiers and trait increase Intrigue, and it can level Intrigue education.

Any chance youre busy/incapable or youre clicking on a person with the wrong gender? Keep in mind that Homosexual changes to whom the character is attracted to and who can seduce them and whom can they seduce.

Have to love the counter intuitive, or just down right misleading, nature of the game sometimes. "Let's crate an intrigue lifestyle focus that relies primarily on another stat to actually work."

I'm targeting the correct gender and sexuality and switching targets every couple years, but in ten years of "I can wait" options, I only once got an option to choose a method and chose flirtation because she was lustful. No dice. Worst focus ever.

This one seems to be really picky. I seem to have better results if I'm not leading armies or performing council tasks, and if the target is not leading armies or performing council tasks. Otherwise I get the 'there's no rush' over and over and over again. The game doesn't tell you this though.

If it is very important to you, try resigning from commander or council positions and see if you have better results.

You can also invite some easy targets to your own court and practice with them until you get better. Of course if you yourself are away from your own court (leading armies etc) you'll still get the "I can wait" option most of the time.

If you keep getting "I can wait" dialogues then either you are picking a target too far away, or you and/or the target are unavailable. Note that leading armies counts as being unavailable.

Exactly, I never even try secuction during big wars; especially if the target is in a foreign court.
