Any more CK2 DLCs in 2020?
Is Holy Fury truly the last one, can I finally start a grand campaign and not worry about it becoming obsolete with a subsequent free update + paid DLC? Cause I swear to Cthulhu, I've been doing this since 2014 and it always ends up messing with my plans. Omnia aut Nihil, Paradox.

PDXCON is in under two weeks, so if paradox are planning new DLC they'll probably announce it then.

Speaking of Cthulhu, I would love it if they'd do another supernatural themed DLC or update. Maybe have some actual consequences for sacrificing yourself to summon Cthulhu in that questline(or give the necronomicon some actual powers; a substitute option from becoming a demon-worshipper perhaps)? I know not many people are fans of the supernatural stuff, but I always wanted that aspect of CK2 to be expanded upon a bit more.

The reason I say that is because I've brought up the topic in the past, and it was met with mostly negative responses. I too love all the wacky things you can do in this game, especially making a polar bear kingdom in Iceland. :P

PDX said they will develop at least another one. I believe the game has some more years on its legs.
Perhaps doing a graphical overhaul with different mechanics here and there over the present base game is the solution for the "new" CK3 in order for it to start with so much content as CK2. As things stand, people will be pissed off if CK3 will have less content than CK2...

So this is it, the big PDXCON reveal for Crusader Kings 2 is the fact that the base game is now F2P? I really don't know how to feel about this...

To be honest, I don't mind this that much. I've been wanting to get this game for my friends... Glad I don't have to now.

BTW is this just for the event or is the game forever F2P? If it does remain F2P forever; maybe CK3 will be announced at PDXCON?

I wouldn't recommend anyone to try out CK2 as just the base game though. It's like ordering a pizza with no toppings at all, not even sauce.

Most certainly true(the base game is unbelievably barebones). Thankfully though only one person needs to own DLC for everyone to enjoy it via multiplayer match-ups. :)

That would count as good news to me, unless you intend to turn those into F2Ps as well, of course.
