Character beatified but not a saint?

I think if you get everything you should be guaranteed to become a saint. It's been almost a hundred years since this guy has died and nothing. I had 2 other character's beatified too and nothing.

Most blessed characters never make the jump to becoming full saints. The wiki has the % chance for each saintly trait: https://ck2.paradoxwikis.com/Sainthood

in my game my dad died and he immediantly got beatified and then canonized in a couple years.

Right. If someone does become canonized (sainted) then they will be so not too long after beatification.
