What's up with this hairstyle stuff?
Title. I really like the idea of challenges with a few set goals, but what are the rewards/why should I care about getting them? Is CK3 seriously going to make people pay for haircuts if they don't win them through challenges?

Well they did that for CK2 and it sells well so why not ?

They didn't tho, all the graphical packs for CK2 included multiple outfits and hairstyles. It seems from the rewards that they'll literally be selling individual haircuts, which is kinda scummy.

i dont wanna play ck2 for that event and rewards... but also i want those dlc for ck3.. can we buy them ? or event only ?

hard to say.

If it's time limited, then they'll probably do something like the Digital Extreme Upgrade once CK3 releases, and give you all the promotion items for a couple bucks.

Though it's also possible that CK2 is simply set to cycle through the list of Challenges every 2 weeks, forever, and you can just keep working at it until you earn everything.

Though they'll probably still include a Promotion dlc pack for people that just wanna throw a couple bucks for the extra cosmetics but don't wanna have to play CK2 for it.

I think this strategy is unsustainable. Look at sims.

Yeah I hope they don't make Chaperone Hats and the Princess Cones as DLC n ♥♥♥♥.
They're in Medieval 2 Total War base game ffs.

Cosmetic packs already kinda suck, selling individual ones? That'd be obscene.

I'm still doing challenges to get all of those though.
