Why can't I seduce my children?

Why can't I seduce my daughters and sons ingame? I can do it with my brothers and sisters, but not with them?
To be clear, I only mean seducing them after they turned 16.

This is till conclave. so before conclave the whole Gen and Dynasty game was create terrific looking Childeren with super STATS. that part of the game after conclave has been ruined a bit.

Now it is very hard to create super childeren.

How about the countless playstations and xbox games where people countlessly kill with out the slightly bit of remorse over and over and over? People who "get comfortable" grabbing modern army weapons in uniform and killing "bad guys" who grabed modern army weapons to kill "bad guys". What kind of influence do you think that will have on people? Complaing about artwork seems to be a distraction to serious atrocities in the real world far greater than fictional drawings of people getting laid.

"Your" daughter is not in the game though.And if she was, it would still only be a game. Nothing happens in real life, no one actually dies fro mthe plague, everyones member is still attached, and sadly, you dont get hoards of gold after a raid : )

Also may I add that treads that read that I want to kill my sons are very common and noone is weirded out by that. But if I want to breed the genius trait with my daughters everyone gets crazy.
The game already allows you to bang children (marry a 16 year old girl as 70 years old infirm bag of ♥♥♥♥, anyone?) and this was actually not my question either. You can be 50 and your daughter is already 30. I don't see how this would e pedophile. Aditionally, you actually can engage in incest with your siblings, cousins, ... So just forbidding parent-child incest (with adult children) appears very arbitrary to me.

I've seen the event "You think this person fancies you" or something along those lines and it was the son to my female character at the time, though this was in V2.45 and may have been adjusted since.

I thought it was bizarre but it was certainly possible at some point, though exceedingly rare as I've only seen it happen once in over 2000 hours of playtime.

The breeding of genetic traits doesn't seem to work anymore since the Conclave DLC patch.
I started the game as Norse with the new option that allows to invite almost anyone, only took brides and concubines with quick / genius / strong. And i think from around 100 offspring there were only 2 who inherited one of these traits.
Then again i started as Mongols, my ruler was weak and his wife nothing special. One kid got quick though.
BTW i don't own that DLC, but the new mechanics are there regardless.

The major gameplay reasons to marry / seduce family members is to prevent non-aggression pacts with realms that you plan to conquer sooner or later, or to prevent them from getting claims on your titles.

1) Seduce
2) DO NOT acknowledge the child. Mark the child person of interest
3) Forbid the mother and child from leaving court.
4) Wait 16 year
5) Repeat
