Why can't I seduce my children?

Why can't I seduce my daughters and sons ingame? I can do it with my brothers and sisters, but not with them?
To be clear, I only mean seducing them after they turned 16.

Because parental incest is wrong.

Making a game where you can seduce your siblings has some loose justification in the Zoroastrian Faith, but making a game where you could seduce your children would be a PR disaster.

More realism, might make the game a bit unbalanced since characters have 2 more years in the prime of their lives to gain exp / traits.

Don't install the Age Tweak mod on a live savegame, it prevents 14-15 year old characters from gaining their educational trait they normally receive when reaching adulthood at 16.


Edit: if you only want the seduction part without family marriage, the author has a separate mod for that.

Whether or not you CAN seduce your children, and other close family members, is not really the question here, is it ? The real question TO ME, is 'WHY THE HELL WOULD YOU WANT TO ???'

I cannot imagine, in my wildest sexual fantasies, wanting to seduce my daughter, or my mother. Could someone explain this to me... PLEASE ???

You can marry your children though, and we're far past the mark that could cause a PR disaster. You already kill babies and that's quite a tame, normal thing to do by this game's standards.

Some people are sick in the head, that's why. I think devs shouldn't unnecessarily restrict these things for people who simply want to roleplay a sick and twisted character.

Well, you are right about the 'restrictions'. CK is about the whole gamut of human behavior and experience, and I wouldn't want anyone to tell me that my character couldn't kill every daughter he had because he thought they were a waste of human flesh.

Incest is just one of 'those subjects'. My knee-jerk reaction is "Are you freaking kidding ???" But, role-play is role-play. And, it is YOUR game, you should play it however you want.

- genocide
- kidnapping

- infanticide
- incest

and so on.

I don't think any civilized person would want to do any of this in reality?

Murder, assassination, torture, and kidnapping can all be justified in some instances as world governments today do those things.

Brother-sister Incest was sanctioned under Zoroastrian Faith.

There is no genocide in-game.

But to the main point, almost nobody wants to simulate parental incest. Nobody complains about the lack of children in a GTA world, so most people can live without parental incest in CKII.

If you want it, add a mod. But don't demand it in the base game.

They probably do not want you having that much control over future heirs. You pop out an amazing stat daughter, then knock her up yourself with your own amazing traits... Seems gamey.

You run risk of Inbred anyway so why bother.

You can just mod your own religion and ad the right lines. can´t remember which code it was.
But it hasn´t been removed.

You can´t seduce people who are not adult.
Think the child hood events of those has been removed too. or locked up.
In the past if you were a infant. you could have some lustfull events
With your female guardian. even if it was your mom.
