How do I make ck2 have better performance?
My usual computer is broken and i'm forced to use my ♥♥♥♥♥♥ laptop for gaming, and I would like to play some ck2, but this computer won't work well with it, is their any way to increase the performance, like settings, mods, etc?

There's a configuration file where you can edit the graphical settings. That doesn't help as much as you'd think though.

You could try some of the flat or simplified map mods, or the cartography ones.
Flat Water, No Fog is also an option.

Besides you could indeed edit the settings.txt and turn water and trees to no.

There is or was a No-India mod in the official forum which also cuts a little more , but it requires an update https://forum.paradoxplaza.com/forum/index.php?threads/mod-ck-ii-performance.960853/

On my old c#apy laptop I have 2 graphic cards. An integrated Intel HD4000 and a GeForce 610M.

Believe it or not but when the GeForce 610M is activated, it runs like $#it at 5 FPS but when I'm using the Integrated HD4000 gpu it runs smootthy at a fair and playable 20 FPS. Yes this seems counter intuitive but it's true. Try it if it's your case.

Otherwise my config is:
i5-3210M @2.50 GHz
8GB ram
