How to join Hermetic Society?

So I got a Learning of 12. The wiki says I need at least 10. I've been waiting years but haven't sen a decision or event allowing me to join the Hermetic Society. Is there a way of joining, or should I continue waiting?

You need to open sociaty view from top left corner. Then you can select hermetic sociaty from the list and apply to join. If you pass requirements for sociaty you will be soon admited in to it.

I have 103 learning

I have 11 learning and when I open the tab, I can't even see it. I am orthodox btw

I think you also need to be "civilized" to join most societies, not horde or tribal.
