Cossacks?

So I know the Cossacks don't really come into being until EUIV's time period, but I've been binging on a ton of Cossacks 3 lately and have been looking for some other game that represents them.

I imagine they could here, being represented as an advancement of the Khazarian culture or a new Zaporizian/Don/Kuban culture. They would be a mixture of mongol and slavic cultures, and their government would be some sort of nomad republic (Hetmen were elected, right?)

What I suppose the point of this is, are there any mods that accurately portray or add cossacks? Would anyone consider one? I've never moddded so I wouldn't really want to approach this on my own, I just listed my thoughts of what one would look like.
