The hard part is knowing which Trait ID to remove, only way I know how is to open the trait file and count traits until you get to the one you want, then it's count # is it's ID. Remove that ID# from your character section of the save. Then save it...
Here's everything you need to know: http://crusaderkings-two.wikia.com/wiki/Cheats
Owning Reaper's Due makes that a little more complicated to get rid of.
As far as i recall you can use:
clr_char_flag <Flag> <Character ID>
http://www.ckiiwiki.com/Console_commands
Flag for bedridden should be bedridden_illness.
Not sure though if that clears all flags correctly or if there are some other which could mess up the character.
I suppose it's better try to edit the save file. Not sure what to look for.
Not as far as i recall.
Removing a trait does not remove a seperate flag.
if you console that hard adding traits to your vassals and yourself to make them op should not be a problem why waste time on a deadbeat
Type "event 107360" in the console.
You can't remove it as a trait, or as a modifier, or as a flag, or in the save files. A different event will let you pick a way of life and ambition but you will still have a regent. From what I found this is the only possible way. Likely a small bug that went unnoticed since people usually die from incapable, but I was playing a mod game with immortal character so when it persisted through all known console commands I was confused.
