How to dispel "vicious rumors" about myself?
Keep getting this -10 modifier constantly. Is there a spymaster action, intrigue focus event anything to cancel it?

Nope.

So what's the point in that "Spymaster" guy then, anyways...

He's there to do more important things than tell people that the rumour about you and a goat was a lie. Uncovering plots against your life is a much higher priority, I would've thought...

The -10 modifier isn't even that bad.

It sucks yeah, but it isn't game breaking of course.

easy, in the game rules at the beginning of the game, disable way of life AI intrigue focus. Done. no more -10 slander crud, or unrealistic abductions with no legal repercussions.

While your at it, turn off way of life AI seduction focus as well, to prevent 95% of your male vassals from trying to seduce your wife, as well as limit the intrigue bonuses AI vassals receive from way of life focus events. this means your vassals can only increase military/steward/diplomacy... all useful stats.

I'm playing a horselord campaign currently (starting as mongols to get achievement) however quickly realised my normal rule configuration didn't take and it was reset to default with everything switched one.

I've had 100% threat the entire time, slowing down my advance due to my vassals being distracted by the combined world's army against me whenever I push east. and after doing a brief stock of my vassals, all 7 of them are on intrigue focus while the other 2 are on seduce...

I would have restarted and fixed my settings but I'm racing the patch, and I'm already 120 years in with everything up to the HRE.

imo the world feels waayyy too boring if your vassals are completely stripped of the oppurtunity to cause trouble.

There should also a be game rule that just reduces the chance of them taking up intrigue or seduction rather than outright removing, or maybe limiting them in a way that they only do stuff that makes some kind of sense (don't seduce absolutely anybody just for the sake of it, stuff like that)

Intrigue guys often make me go on rampage. If I know that my wife was seduced, but I didn't figure by who, I try to catch or assassinate every seducer. I usually use every opportunity to catch seducers at all time. If I was slandered, I try to assassinate every single intrigue focused guy. Oh, and also I behead every wife that cuckolded me. It's funny and sad that AI doesn't consider executions due to that kind of unhonorable action before doing it. Because getting executed the same year after execution of previous wife it's just... plain idiocy. There's should be a trait like "jealous" or something, to prevent people from mass suicide.
But I don't disable it. As I said, even if it shows AIs stupidity, it's funny 😄

I personally wouldn't turn my proposed rule on 'cause I find bs court intrigue hilarious but it would be a good happy medium to keep things interesting for the people that see it all as the worst thing to ever happen to them.

Usually if somebody seduces my wife I proceed to seduce their wife, mother, sisters, daughters, and concubines (if applicable) just so he knows how I feel but 10x worse.
