online or offline?

would you guys say that most people play CK2 online or offline? which do you think suits the game better?

both honestly, I would say the vast majority of people play single player however remain connected to steam cloud etc online for achievements etc.

The game is perfectly capable of playing offline, however you obviously will be void of achievements etc, however the game itself will function without losing any features.

So to answer, online however singleplayer, I would say the minority of the customer base utilize multiplayer.

You wont be void of any achievements if use Steam Guard. They will be saved in local steam filesand uploaded on Steam servers on first connection, with proper dates and time.

I play online, nearly always ^^ Singleplayer online :)

Yup, no one seems to want to play multi due to lag because of the engine so single player it is. Most people also seem to not play ironman or care about acheivements. I am not one of those players as I prefer to only play ironman but to each his own. I also use Steam Guard as my very knowlegable Steam friend n00b has already pointed out and everything works smooth as butta. Online, offline, single, multi, doesn't matter as long as I'm getting my CKII fix I'm happy and that is the key.
