Calling in favours!
If someone owns you a favour how do you call for it?

Thanks

right click on their portrait and there should be an option there.
im not sure but they don't seem to do anything unless they're on your council or are your liege

-use favor to invite person into your court (marriage with claims)
-pope for divorce
-your liege to get council seat

but yeah most the time I use it for my own council

Favors outside of council actions can be used to get characters to accept marriage proposals, force them to end plots, and force them to join factions. I don't think they can be used to force characters to join your plots, so I think you are out of luck in using a favor on the Basileus to join you in a plot to fabricate a claim.

I find the most useful favors to use on your liege are to force acceptance of a council position, force acceptance of a marriage (force acceptance of a matrilinal marriage proposal between your female heir and his male heir for example) or force or suspend realm peace.

You can also force someone to send you their child for education.
