Is Great Blot worth it?

I am playing as Germanic Tribal Petty King, was offered a Great Blot for 50 gold, cause I'm tribal I dont have a lot of money around, is it worth it? I thought all that happened was a couple of vassals got angered at each other last time...

Only great blot if you have prisoners available. If you sacrifice prisoners during the great blot you can get a nice boost to your prestige/piety and when it ends you get a Vassal opinion bonus.

[Edit] Should also be noted it has a pretty long cooldown, i wanna say 7 years.

If you have many vassals who are not of your religion you can recoup the cost of the blot from them paying you to not attend. You can also get some nice prestige and piety boosts from sacrificing Muslim or Christian prisoners. Otherwise, the blot is rather bland.
