i played eng version and i really like the voice acting.
controls are just so perfect, that i couldnt decide if i play with xbox controller (for comfort) or with mouse/keyboard (for headshots) i did both, both works (i cant aim with a controller thou) and i ended using mouse/keyboard
and what are even the definite ideas? to choose ur teammates or to gain/loose trust?^^
Voice controls well hickups are expected even if you fluent in english that doesn't mean it will register those exact words you speak at least they did add option to switch to controls instead to use voice to give commands
No idea about other languages but for English voice acting is just fine in this game
Binary Domain is great game but I can't help get a feeling like its rushed as if people had gun pointed at their head
Thanks to those who confirmed the game was ok, that helped me to persevere.
Controls are weird.
Mouse acceleration is one of the worst I have every played - this game is almost unplayable.
Joypad support is ... ugh, present, but again the acceleration is so terrible, that even pad doesn't really help.
Setting, story, characters, gameplay, mechanics, weapons, enemies, upgrades - all those are actually nice.
What a sad joke - controls - mouse are total ♥♥♥♥. In this regard this is one of the wors games I played.
100% you have no clue what mouse acceleration is.
The controls for mouse + keyboard seem like they were mapped by a mental patient whose sole goal in life was to see how many players would be irritated by the defaults.
The prompts on screen are confusing and downright lazy. A generic "M" in the form of a keyboard key being used to encourage a mouse3 click is absurd.
I'm likely alone in the thought that the voice command function felt like it was a holdover from something SEGA had up their sleeve back when the Dreamcast was still on the market. Given how dodgy it can be vs. developed fully, it just gives off that "we're trying this out" vibe that certain Dreamcast titles gave off (which, despite how good many Dreamcast titles were, was not always a good thing).
I have a hard time believing anyone praised this game so highly, especially as far as this PC port is concerned. In addition to the technical flaws, it's hard not to see it for the generic third-person tactics shooter it is.
