Binary Domain

Ending was terrible.
Just because someone was born in an artificial womb doesn't make them a robot. They really should have given you a chancel to side with Faye, the rest of the squad was really being ignorant.

Even if you were to believe that Faye and the offspring of the other hollow children were part robot (which is impossible if they had no mechanical parts), it's very plausible the resulting "hybrid" would have been superior in every way to humans as they are today.

Overall I found highly slanted and forced choice to kill Faye to be morally reprehensible and I refuse to finish the game because of that.

Ending can change based on how you interacted with your squad.

I had relatively high Trust with all, still fought Faye, but didn't kill her. When the Major showed up and attacked her Bo jumped in front, saying he shouldn't hit a pretty lady, then told Dan to take care of her and dies.

Left with Dan, Faye, Charlie and Rachael. Faye said she had to go, Charlie tells her others will come to kill her..but he'll say she disappeared in the fight and it should give her a 2hr headstart, Faye runs off.

Post Credits:
Faye is walking along a dusty road wrapped in a cloak, US soldiers and scrap-heads show up to kill her, she pulls out her rifle and throws the cloak in the air (Awesome red leather pants)..All the Scrap-heads start dying, pans accross to a minigun, held by Dan..Dan blows them all to hell, tells the soldiers to run home..endearing moment and kiss between the 2, zooms out and cutscene ends.

EDIT: The US government doesn't want more "racial tension" so plan to kill of the Hybrid super humans and according to them, Faye must die because if another group of Hollow Children come, they might look to Faye as their leader and go to war.

Which I agree is stupid and monstrous..but that's pretty much what government officials are, right?

I'm wondering, just how high is your trust with your squadmates, volfin?

The trust system & companion outcomes/endings definitely take hints from the Mass Effect series (or any other Bioware RPG for that matter).

Generally, the best or positive outcomes require high levels of trust.

Spoilers:

For example, Big Bo will reveal he is working for the US Major and hold Dan at gunpoint. If trust is "Very High", Big Bo will have a change of heart at the pivotal moment & stand by Dan, unlocking an achievement in the process. Otherwise, I have read online that he will scuffle with Dan & pilot one of the Cuirass units against you in the initial phase of the final boss battle that has 4 Cuirass units. After everything & you take everyone down, there is a scene where Bo makes up with Dan before succumbing to his wounds.

Also, Cain will return at another pivotal moment to take the blow for Faye if he has "Very High" trust levels. Then he rejoins the team for the final showdown. Otherwise, his fate is ambiguous. Someone else on the team will end up taking the blow for Faye & dies. I am not certain how the team member who makes the sacrifice is chosen but it may be the one with the highest trust left.

Overall the whole trust system & attempt to make choices matter like some RPGs is a low point for Binary Domain as the game is just too linear and too short to support something like Mass Effect's paragon/renegade & branching outcomes.
