Because there are other platforms on which to play this game. I played Bioshock Infinite on my console; does that mean I'm not allowed to hold a discussion on the Steam forum for Bioshock Infinite?
He may still be a troll, but the profile games list is one of the least reliable ways to tell so I don't even bother.
My only complaint through the whole game was those damned QTE's. The industry as a whole needs to ditch them as soon as possible.
I know that he could play it on the console but why is he whining in the Steam forum? Why not the Xbox live Forum, or the Developers website? Because he can expect such a high conversation level here?
Why on earth would any self respecting gamer go to an even WORSE forum than SPUD to have a discussion about a game? SPUD is bad enough without resorting to Xbox territory.
The simple fact is that SPUD is, for all its (many) faults, convenient. If you have a Steam account, you are already signed up for the forum. Going to one of those other sites requires creating a brand new login account.
I have played everygame to the end and I perfer the newest one BECAUSE of the gameplay and its not just puzzles that (in the older games) were quite simple. Plus the newer game could have been made with more puzzles and yes it could have just been better for SOME people but remember so many people love and play the series no matter what, they will continue to do so.
In Tomb Raider Chronicles The Black Isle featuring young lara had her Tomb Raiding.
In Tomb Raider Revelation it also featured young lara tomb raiding in the egyptian desert.
MUCH younger than 2013 Lara and she still loved to raid tombs.
I don't know what you're talking about but if Lara ever says "I hate tombs" then she is not Lara Croft. The Lara Croft I know wouldn't be afraid to raid a tomb around the age of 8. How old is 2013 lara, 16? 17? Somewhere around that?
The world changes, change with it or hide yourself in the past. Your choice.
I love where this character is going. Maybe next she can start spewing profanities and rip people in half with a chainsaw gun.
Clearly you have no played the game. She says this in one of the main part of the storys when she goes into a ritual chamber.
