Do you prefer gamepad or keyboard + mouse?

Hello, I began playing this awesome game with gamepad, but later on, when the game began to be more challenging I switched to keyboard and mouse, because it was very difficult for me to aim precisely with just a hat on the gamepad :)

So big admiration for those who completed the game with just a gamepad :)

Any FPS game i always go keyboard and mouse. Games like tomb raider and saints row i play gamepad. Some games that support the gamepad are awful due to poor layout and movement controls. Its about what feels right in your hands for each game you play

K+M for me, i really dislike to use gamepad for any game with FPS or TPS elements.

Didn't even try to play with a gamepad. I just can't stand to aim with a control stick. However I was a bit concerned, if the climbing passages would work out with K+M. Having played for some hours now, I must say that it works perfectly.

I really really wish Steam would release thier prototype Jpypad with tack ball option..
I like the joypad for movent and it's just more fun to play.. all it needs is a track ball replacement for the right stick.. some guy has a homemade one he has on kickstarter I have no idea why this isnt made already by Logitech or Thrustmaster
playing with Joypads are fine some people will just ♥♥♥♥♥ about anything .
Ihave 2 PC's the one hooked up to the Big Screen I only use joypads because I hang out on the couch and play

tuact.com makes a controller that allows a mouse to be used with a xbox or pc. Had one for six months and no problems for me.

Several people here said they prefer gamepads with Tomb Raider. Can you guys explain what makes this game more suitable for gamepads than other games, where you use keyboard&mouse?

I usually prefer the XBOX controller for games like this, mostly because I enjoy playing on the big screen in the living room (I run 30ft of HDMI from my PC haha). Though I will say that aiming is one hell of a lot harder.

Gamepad for Singleplayer (couch effect!) and keyboard for Multiplayer ("1337 effect" xD).
