Also, I don't think in the remake timeline that she has a mansion per se. It says that she has her parent's wealth but she isn't touching it. In one scene she even says that she worked late shifts at a bar to pay for her tuition.
I wish i could run the hair setting but my system loses about 5 fps for it and it puts me below what i find acceptable.
Ps, she apparently worked in a bar called 9 bells. When she bandages a cast member, she mentions it. "a wolf bite is nothing compared to a broken bottle at the 9 bells" or something along those lines.
And the scene where you climb the radio tower (seen in the trailer) is about as fist pump as it comes.
After Discovering Roth as he's fighting off Wolves with his pistols akimbo, then rescuing the pack.
Roth: Where'd you learn to do a thing like that lass?
Lara: Late shift at the nine bells. A broken bottle's got nothing on wolves.
Also, if you read up on the developer's character backstory of her, you see stuff like that. She turned down a free enrollment to Cambridge to go to the University College of London because she wanted to work hard and earn things, rather than rely on "rich parents"
Getting a bit off topic here, but I'm in Canada and while holding down a min.wage job. I had enough money to pay for my entire tuition for 4 years and have summers off. (Not enough to pay for trips, but Roth/Grimm have a ship!)
Roth: Where'd you learn to [tie a bandage or something like that]
Lara: Late shift at the [something] bar. Wolves have nothing on a broken glass bottle.
that part is right after he wakes up when you go get the first aid kit for him.
Don't recall the tuition part, but I may have missed it from another conversation.
