I need help I want to know how well my pc can play this game but for some reason the start benchmark test is greyed out, WHy?

yeah...doesnt sound right. everyone should be able to run it.

Actullay benchmark will say you get great fps. I did i got 55 average fps. But in game while playing it usualy drops to 30fps

lol try getting 60 fps on shanty town!! I dont think its possible unless you own a super computer

shanty town? (the benchmark lets you select location?) I'm by the sea (I just got it yesterday the game) I have hmedium (1600x900) res and ALL options on highest possible. I get 54 average BECAUSE I get 9 lowest. It never seems slow - but will do a single frame stutter about 6 times during the benchmark. Seems like while it's doing disk IO to me. (but I'm on a SSD) bugd me - as it shouldn't just TWITCH like that every 30 seconds or so. (I'm running it on iMac quad code i5, 12gb ram, SSD medium res of 1600x900. with all options max. I'm using parallels which has win8 installed. It just hit me, I'm mulititasking with Mac OX (so I could run two games side by side if I wanted to - or get notices via OSX) but have win8 set to use most of the processor. Maybe I should try and set it to use ALL of the processor since I don't need Mac OS while running a win game. I'll see if there is a option for that.

Krowbar 60fps (max or average?) with what res and graphics setting level?

Don't bother. It's a random bug of the menu; just seen it myself. Simply click the benchmark option, it will run.

I run the Mac version now - I can run 2560x1440 all options on high and it looks so much better than when I ran windows version. Skin and texutres are like so much better. Ultra smooth framerate.
