I've never experienced motion sickness from playing a game ever before, but I reached a point in this game where I thought I was going to pass out. It just got so bad.
We still desperately need a patch or fix for this.
It was like the guy filming it was having his own person earthquake.
Exactly, just finished playing through Borderlands 2, Mars War logs, no problem.
Started playing this and bam, 10 minutes in and bad throbbing behind my eyes.
Well that and just pissed off at how annoying it is and ruins an otherwise fun game, like unplayable for me ruined, and un-recommendable as well.
Why not a simple option to turn it off?
I know it's 2 issues, the camera keeps trying to follow and then it bounces off every object along the way.
I just think it's terrible and should at least be a simple option instead of forced.
We need an option to turn it off.

Dear Customer,
Thank you for contacting the Square Enix Support Centre.
We are sorry to hear you are having some issues with Tomb Raider, now unfortunately as far as we are aware the camera in game is working correctly. You can try adjusting some of the graphics settings to see if that helps with your issue but if that doesn't help please let us know the exact area in game you are having problems with and we can see if there is anything else we can advise.
We apologize for any inconvenience caused.
Kind regards,
The Square Enix Support Centre team

Camera Screw;
http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/CameraScrew
When the camera adds Fake Difficulty to a third-person view game, you have the Camera Screw, combining elements of the Interface Screw and Behind the Black. It has many causes:
•Lazy or incompetent programmers and/or level builders.
• A mistaken belief that impressive visuals are more important than gameplay.
• Coding the camera to best show off your Third-Person Seductress.
The Tomb Raider series features several cases of Camera Screw:
◦ As a general rule, the camera gets worse as the series goes on (and, as Legend and Anniversary suggest, that doesn't seem to be changing much), starting off generally consistent and doing what it's supposed to by staying behind you in the first few games, then later on adding pointless, unchangeable angles that add nothing to the view except Fake Difficulty.
-That and headaches and sea sickness.
#5 - THE SHAKY CAM
I saw "The Hunger Games" movie and thought it was the biggest pile of CRAP I had ever seen, yet it made $400 million in the box office. But I won't make the Lara/Katniss comparison cuz that's not what this is about. Though I will say that "The Hunger Games" contained one of the single-most annoying features for a movie, the shaky cam. Basically, it's a handheld camera that, when in motion, shakes the image like crazy for a sense of "realism". Tomb Raider follows this tradition and features NON-STOP shaky cam at every turn. Even with something as simple as exploring an empty beachside area, the shaky cam is on full alert as Lara moves from one area to the next. Why did the developers feel this was a necessity for this game? Was the game not gritty enough that unless there was a shaky cam, it wouldn't be "real"? STOP IT!
