Need Help With First Part Of Mountain Village.

I can not seem to go back to the first part of it. The only way I see down is the ladder. I finished everything up top so the only other place for the rest has to be in the bottom part. To get into that it was the part where Lara cranked the shaft with Whitman in the forest area. When I go back there the door is shut and there seems to be no way through.

I have stood at the ladder, pushed different keys, tried everything but I can't get her to go back down.

Any help is appreciated.

No not up the crack. There was a long ladder to go up the side of a cliff. Can't go back down it. It is the Mountain Village. It has a camp site link. The houses below are the same style as the ones above. Can't go back down and can't come in from the other end in the forest where the 2 crank shafts are.

Sometimes you have to move forward until you reach the next campsite that has a quick travel function.

Or are you saying you can not go forward either?

The mountain village is the quick travel camp site. If you look at the map the first part is below that site. Down a cliff side. I can't seem to find a way to get to it. The one before is the 2nd one or forest area with the deer in it. That is a quick travel as well. Between is what I can not get to.

I went through it once. I just can't get back to it.

I see where you are at now, the mountain temple. Sadly that is not a ladder, it's the rope bridge that broke and i dont think you can get back through the crank door.

If thats where you are at, I am not sure you can get back there.

Edit; Tis indeed a ladder. ;) Still can't go back down though. :(

I am maxed on the bow. Is it a bug? Seems to be the only place you can not go back to.

The part of the village you'r ereferring to, cannot be revisitted. There are several story related sections like that. Don't worry though, there are no areas that contain any achievmetn/challenge related things, that cannot bed returned to later. The areas you can't return to, don't contain anything related to challenges or achievments.

I have the treasure map showing up now and I was able to find a crack at the bottom of the water fall to the right of where the ladder is. I missed it. It contains the missing parts I need.

As a matter of fact there are openings at the bottom of both waterfalls there. I have no idea why I could not find them before. They are like really easy to spot. :-O
