Tomb Raider
FXAA vs SSAA
Which is better? I heard ssaa could be a huge performance hit. But I don't think it will be a problem. So which looks better?

definitly SSAA better image Q.
SSAA is and always will be better looking than FXAA.
sadly cant use ssaa cause screen goes all weird at the bottom and resolution looks same with it off or fxaa on or any of the ssaa
I use 4x SMAA with a ReShade Overlay; the Performance hit is probably too much for most useres but I don't have any issues with my set up (System Specs. in Bio).

I would suggest trying to use a ReShade Overlay as they AA might be best for lower end systems. Though occationaly the game just has bad AA (Rise of the Tomb Raider).

Rise is a great game but it's AA isn't the best; I still have a bit of AA even on my system with Max AA and ReShade Overlay but I've learned to live with it.

I should clearify that what I mean is that the game runs great on max settings but the trees still have a little bit of AA going on that I can't seem to get ride of entirely but it's not a serious issue.

How do you get rid of that fog glass issue on bottom of screen with smaa
I have a 1440p display. For antialiasing, I feel that the best method is to downscale from 4K (I set it up as a custom resolution in the nVidia Control Panel), then use SweetFX's SMAA to smooth out the last few edges. The results look slightly better than 4xSSAA.
I stuck on 1080p tv monitor (1920 x 1080).

I got vsr on amd gpu
I've been playing with all at max, even 4x ssaa, at 1080p 60-70fps with my rtx 2060 oc. I can play too with fxaa at 140fps, which should i use?
