I'm assuming this is going to be specific to one technology or a proprietry one... because it's not working on my Samsung 3D Display... *sigh*

Have you selected both fullscreen options? You need both boxes to be checked.

Have been from the start. Also tried unticking in different combinations. I've tried a complete reinstall of the game also and clearing registry files and de-syncing Steam cloud settings.
Hmmm, then I am out of tips. I installed DRives 310,90 and checked both fullscreen boxes. Settings are ultimate with tress fx and game is running smooth with 3d now. :3

Sorry it does not work for you.
Outside of enabling 'ultimate' and 'exclusive full screen' in the launcher and then entering the game and then finding the 3D box setable I'm sorry it's not working for you. You should go to the game/bug website and get a trouble ticket.

Well I'm out of ideas. I've tried all of the above and cannot get it to work. I've even enabled the actual setting on my monitor itself (top/bottom, side and frame sequential) and the option just won't become available. :/
I'm using a Samsung SA950 3D monitor, and like you have tried every combination of settings and just can't get the Stereoscopic option to enable. It remains greyed out no matter what. Sigh.

If you ever get it working, please send me a PM with instructions or post them here. I'll do the same if I find any solution for this issue.

Yep will do. I've pretty much given up on this though. With the latest patch and a new HDMI cable, I've got nothing.

This is one of the reasons I dumped 3D Vision in the past. Exclusivity. Everyone wants their own damn 3D solution and it excludes all others. I had a 22" 3D monitor for 3 years (because anything bigger was unavailable) and eventually dumped it and the glasses because the only 27" models coming out were twice the price of a regular (if not better 2D) 27" LED screen.

It's the same reason for the wait for the Avatar movie in 3D. Just bad business. :/
I have the same problem, could not find a solution! Have you spent a lot of time with him if it would be a matter of who had spent so much time with him, I'd be ready to go!

dont you need an nvidia card to run the 3d
IT would help, cause my Nvidia Geforce GTX 660m can do it with no problem
I have an ASUS VG278H with built in 3d and 2 gtx 670's in SLI. 3D works FINE. at 1920x1080 everything MAXED out with TressFX on also . Looks AWESOME in 3D. Took some tinkering at first but got it working in 3D.

What did you have to do to get it working? My 3D options are still greyed out.

So am I ... using AMD 7970 and Samsung 65" smart 3d TV ...
when ever I click on 3d option it drop me to window mode (without 3d ofcause....)
im pretty sure u need an nvidia 3d card mate, im running it on 3x 3d moniters and it looks incredible in 3D.
I believe it is his work but I can not tick the stereoscopic 3D cube because gray! GTX680 SamsungT27A950 3D LED TV Monitor. TriDef profile because it was not supported natively in 3D! Other games such as Crysis 3 Mass Effect 3 Borderlands 2 will go without problem! I know not what to do? But it seems to me there was anyone else in the same trouble! Help!

I don't recall exactly. Sorry. It didn't work at first and I somehow got it working. But remember to use the hot keys while the game is running (Ctrl+T) to toggle it on/off. I noticed (Just tried it) that while I had the options/advanced graphics tab open IN GAME hitting those hotkeys turned the 3D check box on/off/on/off IN the GAME options I mentioned above also. Make sure you have your montior set to the proper refresh rate also. (120Mhz in mine). If you have another monitor or TV that is not 3D don't have it even selected for use, uncheck the other monitor. I have my SONY TV as a second as I also use my PC as an HTPC for movies and TV shows. The 3D wouldn't work with BOTH monitor and TV in use. Even if the TV is off.

Just to clarify, are you using NVIDIA 3D Vision or are you using a different 3D solution (but a NVIDIA card)?

Okay, same here: AMD7970 connected to an LG LA6208. Not using any 3rd party 3D application like TriDef.
Option for enabling "stereoscopic 3D" is available in TR but as soon as it's activated, the game runs in windowed mode at roughly 640x480 (not showing 3D effects, of course).
For now I've tried 1920x1080@60...
It really looks to me that 3D support is absolutely an NVIDIA reserved feature :-(

I'm using the NEW Nvidia 3DVision 2 glasses; They came with my monitor which also has the IR transmitter built into it.
