Have been from the start. Also tried unticking in different combinations. I've tried a complete reinstall of the game also and clearing registry files and de-syncing Steam cloud settings.
Sorry it does not work for you.
If you ever get it working, please send me a PM with instructions or post them here. I'll do the same if I find any solution for this issue.
Yep will do. I've pretty much given up on this though. With the latest patch and a new HDMI cable, I've got nothing.
This is one of the reasons I dumped 3D Vision in the past. Exclusivity. Everyone wants their own damn 3D solution and it excludes all others. I had a 22" 3D monitor for 3 years (because anything bigger was unavailable) and eventually dumped it and the glasses because the only 27" models coming out were twice the price of a regular (if not better 2D) 27" LED screen.
It's the same reason for the wait for the Avatar movie in 3D. Just bad business. :/
I don't recall exactly. Sorry. It didn't work at first and I somehow got it working. But remember to use the hot keys while the game is running (Ctrl+T) to toggle it on/off. I noticed (Just tried it) that while I had the options/advanced graphics tab open IN GAME hitting those hotkeys turned the 3D check box on/off/on/off IN the GAME options I mentioned above also. Make sure you have your montior set to the proper refresh rate also. (120Mhz in mine). If you have another monitor or TV that is not 3D don't have it even selected for use, uncheck the other monitor. I have my SONY TV as a second as I also use my PC as an HTPC for movies and TV shows. The 3D wouldn't work with BOTH monitor and TV in use. Even if the TV is off.
Just to clarify, are you using NVIDIA 3D Vision or are you using a different 3D solution (but a NVIDIA card)?
Option for enabling "stereoscopic 3D" is available in TR but as soon as it's activated, the game runs in windowed mode at roughly 640x480 (not showing 3D effects, of course).
For now I've tried 1920x1080@60...
It really looks to me that 3D support is absolutely an NVIDIA reserved feature :-(
I'm using the NEW Nvidia 3DVision 2 glasses; They came with my monitor which also has the IR transmitter built into it.
