Great game but these QTE's suck ass..

Seriously.. I thought we got passed the days of DA QTE's.. It was a very happy time for me.. Other than that I am loving the game..
FFS.. enough of the QTE's..
If you are going to do QTE's at least don't make them so dam fast leading to instant death, over some ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥....

I here ya. Took me multiple passes to get past the GTE where lara makes her first kill. Do i hold the button, do i tap it quickly? WTF, why do i keep getting killed? I'm hitting the Damn button, ARGHH!!!!

Once you get the general idea they get easier. When the symbol flashes on and off, you mash the corrsponding key, on the PC that tends to be the hand symbol and the E key (though in the wolf QTE there's a part where you mash F). Also note that there should appear a help-text on screen telling you what to do.
When you see converging circles there's a timed keypress inbound, on the PC this is always the F - with the exclamation mark symbol - unless you changed key bindings. You have to time pressing the key to the moment the symbol appears, too early and you fail the event.

Dreading the upcoming GTE with the wolf, but still loving this game. Been a fan of this series since the first one all those years ago.

Aye, I'm stuck on this one where she's trying to escape from the Italian dude. I actually managed the first QTE once but then messed up the timing on the second and since then not been able to get past the first. Trying too hard I guess...

It takes multiple tries. If your paying attention you should remember each button for that quick time event. It also helps having a "mechanical keyboard". Having a keyboard like my blackwidow ultimate 2013 edition makes intense button mashing segments so much better. The buttons will register on the first hit.

The odd thing, from my experience so far, is that they can be too slow. There was one before the radio tower, in the bunker... or was it with the wolf in the cave. I can't recall, but all I know is that I didn't do it on the first try because I was too fast. XD
We can all agree that the hardest QTE was with the russian. Mainly because that was the 1st adn we had to figure out how it works.

The QTEs are great when you get them right first time, unfortuantly that was very rare with me.
Devs still don't seem to work out that instead of "keeping you in the action" there's not much that disjoints gameplay more than failing QTEs... multiple times...
But they are all manageable - eventually.
Could be worse, it could be like Fahrenheit.
That game was a ♥♥♥♥♥ for QTEs.

Yes, it didn't help that it said "press f" instead of "mash f", which was my problem.
