I hope there will be a sequel! Tomb Raider was one of the best games I've ever played!

@Gregory: I had no troubles playing Tomb Raider with absolutely smooth graphics on my Phenom II X4 940 and my 560Ti. Did I have to disable TessFX (which look stupid anyway) and to reduce the Level of Detail to Normal in order to keep it smooth in the Mountain Village and the Shanty Town levels? Yes. But did it still look better than most other games? Hell yes! Just because you think you have a great system and because the game allows it, it doesn't mean you have to max everything out to experience a great game. Some features are only meant to keep the game relevant for future hardware development and don't take anything away from the awesomeness of the game when you disable them. Threatening to not buy any more games from them just because some experimental graphics features are too demanding is quite the overreaction.

Long story short: switch off TessFX, reduce the Level of Detail to High or Normal and leave the rest on max: enjoy! You shouldn't let your irrational wish to boast "I maxed everything out and it still runs great on my system!" take away from what the game is actually about: having fun.

I know how they end up doing games working in our machines.1st of all that level of detail is such a huge pain in the ass in both hitman and this game and for small graphics details it makes your pc bow down to its knees.2nd the SSAO in both games is also a big hit for some extra shadows that blend with the environment.maybe TOO big in performance hit.there are more things that get involved on this thing. They suck and they will alway suck and they do this mainly since hitman blood money.I got fed up with all of this since 2004 so excuse me but i know how their games works.pls dont reply back.

I run with almost everything on max on my Phenom IIX4 965 and an HD6870, a decidedly midrange system (if not low). Game looks and runs absolutely splendidly. Perhaps its something on your PC?

Anyways, I believe there will definitely be a sequel. All indications are that the game did well in sales, and scored very well with the vast majority of users and reviewers. Hopefully next time they ditch the multiplayer though, it really has no place in a TR game. Furthermore I hope the MP DLC does poorly to further illustrate this point.

And maybe they'll change their minds and give us some SP DLC...

LOL......

If given the choice I always play a female in games, not only for the pre-programed noises but if I'm going to be looking at a cartoon butt for hours on end.... ;)

I see only 18% of ME3 players opted for Femsheppard - the other 82% missed out on some of the best in game voice acting I've listened to in a long while.

I agree. Female protagonists are a refreshing change to gaming. Besides, Lara Croft is special!

THAT she is. What other video game protagonist (male OR female) is more famous than Lara?
expect a lot more of tomb raider. seriously, this game is selling really well
100% yes

Crystal Dynamics is owned by Eidos, who is owned by Squeenix. It's all under Squeenix umbrella now. Yes, Squeenix made the game, because Crystal Dynamics is now Squeenix in-house developer. So is Eidos Montreal.
It doesn't matter who owns what or who bought whom. The point is that Tomb Raider and Thief 4 are developed by different people, and development of one game does not hinder or interfere with development of another.

That is wrong, they are all under one same corporations and they can be affected. If there are financial troubles, Squeenix can and will move around development team, or even cancel/put on hold one to focus on another more favourable.

Independent developers on the other hand, can seek a new deal with another publisher or even crowd funding.
