Tomb raider has the best cover system of all time!

Damn! The devs threw their drawers and panties into this game! I have never seen a character act the way lara does in this game! The amount of animations are stunning! The cover system makes Gears of War seem archaic by comparison. It makes her seem alive because she realistically dips and ducks behind everything in her environment that seems like it could give her cover,without having to press a button to do so.You even see her hand come up to brace herself against walls and ♥♥♥♥! This franchise is back! Put more tombs with longer environmental puzzles in the next one and it will be a 10. I give it a 9.2 . Now for the Legacy of Kain Reboot.

PS They should make the treasure you find in the tombs more important. Maybe the relics you find should be something you need to solve larger puzzles.

I agree. Normally I'm not a fan of cover systems that don't require a button press, but this is the first cover-based game I've played (button press or no) where I've never gotten in or out of cover when I didn't want to, or take place on the wrong side of cover or .. anything like that. It's quite amazing how flawless it's behaved.

agreed the hype over this game and the promised graphics made me go back and start tomb raider underworld all over and this time finished it. I am loving this game.

I agree as well. I haven't died once because of cover failing to cover me. Other up and coming games should look at this one for their cover system.

Damn I was gonna post something similar. But plus whatever for you man. I love how she automatically covers and aims at the proper side. No need to say, press the LS or RS or something like in other games to change your aim side. I give this game a near perfect score of 9.5.

The cover system really is great, especially how they made hiding, sneaking, and such so natural it doesn't feel forced.

Agreed on this thread Story was awesome Tombs where really challenging at times, It was just sad what u got at the end of them. Upgrade system was cool going from a crap bow to this damn badass as hell bow. :P

This is a great game! i only have one gripe...when you kill an enemy they all seem to know EXACTLY where you are. Other then that this game is amazing. 9.5 definately!
