How many of you are waiting for GOTY edition?
I've been wanting this game since before launch, but of course in true Steam fashion, I wait for the price drop.

It's my understanding that a GOTY edition will be released, along with all the post launch DLCs.

//a note on the side: we should thank console peasants for "DLCs". How many of you remember the days when PC games were complete AND functional at launch, on CDs, and none of this DLC or worse yet, zero day DLC crap? Alas the good old days.

I'm going to wait out until GOTY to save myself some grief of downloading some billion DLCs on top of the base game itself.

Well, if you don´t like MP the only dlc that could worth getting with discount are the Tomb of the Lost Adventure ( i don´t like the other costumes and prefer the original one).
But if you buy the dlc collection at 3.99 and the Final Hours for 0.59 i´m sure that you will have everything that the GOTY could offer in the future.

The GOTY edition has been spotted in the Steam registry. But the PS3/360 GOTY ones are already listed, why haven't they announced the PC GOTY ?
I don't understand, at all.

It is really interesting. I don't think many people will buy the GOTY version because it doesn't have anything new to offer other than what has already been published and many people interested in those have already bought the extras.

I'm waiting only because I just want to download the game once and for all, instead of downloading base game + a whack of DLSs separately.

does goty have survival though? the lack of upgrade dlc is annoying fr cheap completionists like me, have held me off from buying the pack

ok guys i take it back but how did this game make game of the wear with grand theft out there?
anyway congrats. have it already so i'm not going goty..............unless its cheap! lol

Releasing GOTY is somehow determined by being actual game of the year? I didn't know that.
But which survey counts? There's sh**load of them. Everyone makes one.

I've always thought that you have a game with bunch of dlcs, game is somewhat popular but no one's bying it anymore, you're gonna make one package with all (*cough* *cough* bordelands) dlcs for reasonable price so folks, who don't like buying games in pieces, can finally buy it with good feelings.

Also I would like to ask, what's the point in this case? We've got ONE singleplayer dlc that adds actual game content (not saying it's long or anything) and a few multiplayer maps The rest is completely useless, at least as I see it. Besides during sales dlc is really cheap.

If you don't own the game (regardless it's being on sale like every other weak, lol) then yeah, might be interesting for you.
If you own the game then as I said, I don't see any reason to buy it again.

This.

And no I don't own the game, hence I'm waiting for 1 giant package and be done with it.

If you buy your DLCs and extras on Steam, you won't realize a difference between buying them in a package or one by one anyway. Steam already does all the downloading and installing part for you, or am I missing something?

This ^

And also, the DLC are so minuscule in size that it won't really matter in terms of extra downloading time or grouping.
