Worst Boss fight in the history of Gamedom

Last boss fight before saving the princess and the thing won't die. I put enough lead in his de-helmeted face to sink a ship. Multiple strikes with the ice pick and he still shoves me away. I put him down 30 times and peppered him with ammo from all my guns point blank in his ugly bare head ... what am I missing dear programmers ... do I have to cross my fingers, stand on my head and wait for the first Tuesday of the 3rd month or what ... enjoyed the game to this point but ready to put it on my piece of crap list ... first game I have never been able to finish if that holds true ... My fingers are tired and my legs are sore from ducking and dodging so .... Adios!!

It might be a bug, try restarting the game. When he goes to swing his club at you, press SHIFT to dodge it and get behind him and shoot him in the back. He doesn't have any armor back there. And make sure you're hitting all of the correct buttons when you're hitting his head with the axe. Obviously you are meant to beat this guy and go on to save the day, so don't give up.

Thanks for the input guys ... nice takedoen in the video BTW ... Can't figure out why my axe attacks are usually deflected. I know the back is his weak spot and the ax is the key to killing him (had no problem with the other Boss battles) ... When ax does get in it is usually only one hit then it pauses in mid air and the next hit is deflected ... weird ...

Make sure your timing's right. The moving circle's gotta be inside the stationary circle, as I hope you already know. If your computer lags a little, you may wanna turn down your graphics. Just for this part. There's a lot of stuff going on in the background; it's an overload for certain computers.
