Is your card Nvidia or AMD, because I hear that Tressfx is optimised better for AMD cards. I have an Nvidia one personally, so I run the game without Tressfx, but it doesn't really bother me.

If you are using a nVidia card turn off Exclusive Fullscreen Mode while using Tress FX.

From the menu it's:
Options > Graphics > Advanced > Hair Quality
And there you should find the option for TressFX

Yes, & in the first option box you can turn off Exclusive Fullscreen Mode if the Hair is glitching in game.

Maybe it's just me, but I think that it makes her hair look way too shiny, light and fluffy considering that she is stranded on an island with no shampoos or conditioners.
