It's the male equivalent of a female looking at a game with guys that are in peak physical condition, look attractive and have muscles.

Honestly you can find video game character attractive, but if things go father then that then things get weird.

They use real female models to create Lara. Even back in the day of the first Lara Croft. It would be silly if they use a man in a dress with fake boobs modeling for Lara Croft.

Exactly. Here's another reality flash for those who think it's strange to find a virtual woman attractive: most if not all models are "airbrushed" and fake when you see them. So, it's the same ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ thing.
