Game Crash
So I'm exiting the Summit Forest through the wolves' cave and it crashes everytime I get to Shanty Town. I restart and the campsite and yet each time I have restart. I've tried multiple times and yet it crashes in the exact same time.

If you having issues getting Tomb Raider 2013 to work correctly with your system, please provide some basic information with your post - we have NO idea what you're trying to run the game on and although many of the problems have been resolved over the past several months, it helps if you tell us your system information (cpu, gpu, installed ram, operating system, desktop or laptop system, etc....)

Here are a few suggestions:

Verify your game files.
Re-install DirectX from the redist sub-folder under the Tomb Raider directory.
Update your graphics card drivers.
Make sure that you've installed ALL updates & patches to your OS.
Try running the game on normal or high settings before ultra or ultimate.
Turn off exclusive fullscreen and/or vsync.
Make sure you're not running some utility like FRAPS which may interfere with the game.
If using an Nvidia graphics card, try their GeForce Experience to configure the game.
If running an "older" system, try running it as DirectX 9 instead of 11 (search for how...)

Everything you've listed I've tried. Yet I've still had the issue.

And yet you still didn't provide any system information...

As I said before - we don't know what you're trying to run the game on and trying to resolve your problem without any information is going to be guesswork at best. If you want some help please provide cpu, gpu, installed ram, operating system, desktop or laptop system, etc. - otherwise you're not gonna get much support from the community...

If you don't know that information you can download a program like Piriform's Speecy or use the System Information utility that comes with Windows... Try to be specific about what happens when the game crashes - does it go to the desktop, freeze, or fail to run at all? Does it show any messages?

Balls in your court...

i7 3770k 3.5GHz
MSI Z77-GD65
Windows 7 64bit
8gb RAM 1600
Radeon 6970

Its gets to a certain point and then crashes. Only thing that pops up is that the program stopped running. I've ran it at low, windowed, and everything in between. I've never had an issue until this one part in the game.

Judging from your specs, I'd believe that you would be able to run Tomb Raider on it's highest settings - what version of the Catalyst Drivers are you running with your AMD card? My two year old desktop (Gigabyte 880GM-UD2H motherboard, AMD Phenom II X4 965 Black Edition cpu, AMD Radeon HD 6870 1GB GDDR5 gpu, Windows 7 64-bit Home Premium, 16GB DDR3 SDRAM) runs the game fine on ULTRA at 1920x1808 and I would think your Intel Core i7 processor and more powerful graphics card should be able to beat that...

I'm using the 13.9 Catalyst drivers in my setup. If you're using those or newer you should be fine, so I would recommend going back and RE-installing the DirectX drivers in the redist sub-directory and validating your game files.

If you don't regularlly do it, you might consider running a utility like Piriform's CCleaner (use the default settings) to clean up any crud your system might've accumulated from general use. Also, if you haven't done it in a while, opening up the case and blowing out the dust bunnies from the cpu, gpu and any other fans with a can of compressed air would be advisable - it doesn't take much to cause a heat issue.

Everything is up to date and cleaned (regularly) and as far as my DirectX files, they're up to date but not sure how to reinstall since its not as simple as going into Add and Remove Programs

To reinstall the DirectX files all you need to do is go into the REDIST sub-directory and rerun DXSETUP.EXE...

It's in the following folder (assuming you've installed everything to your c:\ drive...)

c:\program files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Tomb Raider\Redist

What version of the AMD Catalyst Drivers are your running?

Well after all that its now crashing before it can even load my save point, so I'm completely lost.
