PS: The Mac saves are in /Library/Application Support/Steam/userdata/[your steamID#]/203160/remote/
"name".local
1. Close Steam
2. Move ~/Library/Application Data/Feral Interactive/Tomb Raider to the desktop
3. Move ~/Library/Application Data/Steam/userdata/203160 to the desktop
4. Start steam
5. Right click on Tomb Raider. Select Properties then Local Files tab and then Verify Integrity. Ignore any errors. Steam will automatically correct them.
6. Launch Tomb Raider and both the launcher and game should work again. Both of the folders you moved to the desktop will be recreated automatically in their original locations, reverting the game to the state that it was in when you first installed it. I.E. No custom keybinding or game saves.
You can attempt to put the saves back from the desktop copies made in steps 2 and 3. However, if you had Cloud Sync enabled in Steam (preferences > cloud > check Enable Steam cloud synchronization) prior to Tomb Raider failing to launch, you shouldn't need to put the saves back as they will automatically download from steam.
The two folders on the desktop shouldn't be of use once Tomb Raider is the way you want it, but I'd keep them around for a few days just in case.
Crash on startup:
Contact Feral support we can't help you if you don't contact us.
FYI the crash due to missing computer name is an OS X bug as a Mac should not be able to be setup without a computer name. It's a bizzare one! We are looking at a work around to avoid the crash if the computer has this bug.
