Missed relic, forever lost?

In the Research Base, I missed the relic that is close to the elevator. It seems to me as if it requires the elevator itself to reach that area, since Lara is unable to jump through the hole by herself that leads to that part of the area.

Did I miss that one, now being unable to collect all relics?

Thank you, I know about point of no return, however, in this particular case you had to use an elevator, which was part of a riddle, to get to the area in which the relic appears to be, with the elevator crashing at the end of the riddle, thus making it impossible to go there. There was also a box with Salvage there.

The fact that the elevator crashes down to the bottom does not hinder getting to the relic. And before the elevator falls down, there are ways to get to all levels above level 1. Only difference is, after the elevator falls to the bottom, you can also get to any relics on level 1, that's all.

About the Point of No Return: That is also no problem, because once you finish the game, you are allowed to go anywhere in the game to go find things you have missed.

So, no, any missed relics shouldn't be lost to you.

If you're talking about the one, which is distanced around two meters, or so, from the elevator, then it is really easy.

Try to get to the room, where you had to go (you had to destroy the elevator to get there), and turn to the right.
You should be able to find it in no time.
