Male protagonist next Tomb Raider

I just wanted to point out this was an absolutely incredible reboot whoch modernized the series in the best possible way. Lara has been great too!

I think it’s time for a change, the next protagonist should be male. Give Lara a break, maybe make her a sidekick to a new young protagonist

Tomb Raider 6 The Angel of Darkness had a male protagonist for 2 of it's levels.

I like story and gameplay concept in Tomb Raider: Angel of Darkness. Kurtis Trent was character a bit out of place for a Tomb Raider game, but developers at Core Design wanted to move away from typical Tomb Raider formula. Too bad, We never got a sequel, since AoD was broken and full of glitches and bugs. That includes unresponsive controls. At least most of parts of the game weren't too difficult, except for annoying Kurtis vs Boaz fight (there is third level, even if it is just boss area). This is the reason We have Crystal Dynamics as developers for Tomb Raider games now.
It would be nice to get more playable characters in a new game, but without replacing Lara. Even this game had potential. Imagine playing as other Endurance crew members and exploring areas, Lara couldn't get to (either at all, or it getting burned/demolished). Even as dr. Whitman. Even if He turned traitor, He got a lot exploration potential. Even if this is an AAA title, they didn't have enough time to work it out.
At least We got a lot of male and female protagonists, as well as male antagonists, in Tomb Raider Multiplayer.
