10/18 Patch Update

We're aware a recent update to Tomb Raider (2013), ROTTR, & SOTTR on Steam is causing multiple issues. We have reverted the patch while we investigate further. If you are still experiencing problems after reverting the patch, please let us know here. Sorry for the inconvenience! Please also note, linking your Steam and Epic Games Store accounts is entirely optional to make it easier to invite your friends to play multiplayer and co-op.

Remove Epic Online Services from the Steam version. Multiplayer is dead anyway, and if Steam players want to play it we'd rather play with other Steam players without having to create an account on a platform many people find deplorable.

While optional the Epic Service are running in background, contacting Epic servers and causing various distress.

This is unacceptable, make them really optional.

Dear game developers, you have put multiplayer on the shoulder blades. Your link to Epic Games does not work, you can play online and without it. BUT, playing even with a linked account is problematic. EpicGames is linking a game with the name BananaMania. The game crashes before playing the match. Players are duplicated, all weapons disappear, the character can't do anything. In addition, there was a huge delay, in general, a lot of instability. After completing one round of black screen, the game crashes. The inscription of the selection of parts has moved to the upper left corner. The inscriptions of the attached players, the killed players moved down in one line. There is no steam profile view button in the game.

Please just remove EOS altogether. I can't even play single-player offline now. When I launch the game using Steam's offline mode, the game becomes stuck at a screen.

You didn't. Not for TR2013 - this "update" is still here. There's no way to start the game offline anymore.

Now my screen gets stuck at the beginning when it says PROFILE so i cant even play it no more this is some real BS..... Please fix this so i can enjoy the game i rightfully own cuz i payed good money for it when i could've spent it on another game.... Complete and utter disappointment.

you guys need to chill out and stop complaining about everything, who give a ♥♥♥♥ about using EOS? It's OPTIONAL, only if you want to play with people who is playing multiplayer, they aren't forcing you to download EGS like Origin did with they games

This update literally makes the game unplayable (single-player included). Maybe not for everyone, but for a lot of people. Switching to an early build fixes the problem instantly, so this update definitely is broken.
