Can't make the jump in Chasm Ziggurat ??
I'm standiong on a small pilar of stone and have to make the jump to the stone wall, but my axe doesn't find grip so i fall to my dead?
Is this the ending of my adventure?

Fast travel to a different area, like the main hub of the game where Roth was injured and see if another similar wall is climbable..

Is it in the area right after talking to Mathias, like in this video? There's one spot you have to fire a rope arrow into the climbable wall to continue. Around 1:22. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0Yj0-EYsoZc

Is it a "pickable" wall? Have you checked with the survival instinct ability? Q for me.

Yes it is "pickable", i hold the axe in my hand and fall/slide down the wall

Are you using a controller, or mouse and keyboard? I have to press the 'E' key to make Laura jam the icepick into the wall and latch on.

Mouse and Keyboard, I know the "E" but that's what doesn't work, so my axe doesn't get a grip and i fall down.

same problem, using mouse+keyboard. it would be the jump at 9:45 in the posted video
changed button mapping to default, files verified(v1.01.748.0), axe works fine in other areas, changed save slot, and retried 100 times. she just falls to the void with the axe in her hand unable to grip the climbable wall.

Mistery solved: didn't realize you're supposed to keep pressed the jump button at least until the axe gets attached to the wall. (Also reinstalled the game, not sure if that fixed something)
Anyway, greetings from 2020 to people in the future stumbling over this topic.
