If the PSN sale is still on, and you have a PS4, you can pick it up for $3, then if you plan on getting a PS5 someday you will be able to play it at a locked 60fps. That's what I did seeing how it's unlikely the Definitive Edition ever comes to PC (I hope to be wrong about this assumption). It's not a huge upgrade, but it is definitely the "Definitive" version of the game, even if the new face model can look a bit 'off' under certain lighting conditions and or camera angels.
It was just added to the True Achievements Playlist of the Month so I finally decided to play it.
I also have the base game on steam but it doesn't have the dlcs included so I prefer playing the Definitive Edition which also has some slight graphical improvements as well as all the dlcs.
