[Tunnel Sharks Rule!!!]

So I got this while it was on the free weekend and I have made it to the Chasm Monastery. I am so far at the part where you have to scale a wall to get to the other side due to the wind breaking up some of the railing. For some reason I am stuck on this part where you have to jump to the boards from the wall, because whenever I try to do it all it does is zoom at the boards and then nothing, she isn't dangling from them it just stares at empty boards

If I remember correctly she doesn't jump over to them she drops down on to them from above them. She can go around the vertical beams as she walks along the horizontal beam against the rock face. Try and get closer to them and (press shift to) drop down on to them instead of trying to jump to them.

Pressing shift does nothing, only spacebar does something since that is what the prompt says to do. Plus I can't go any closer than this

The prompt is telling you to press space to jump across where there's nothing in front of her at her left foot's toes to the next set of beams attached to the rock face not on to the platform of boards. She drops down on to that platform of boards, she doesn't jump a distance to them.

I'm playing through it a second time on normal difficulty. I completed it on Easy.

I was wrong. I didn't remember how I did it as I thought. There might be more than one time that happens at that part of the game too. I'm pretty sure there was a space that I jumped to the next set of beams against the rock face and them dropped down to a platform as shown in your screen shot.

You might have to press E so she grabs the platform? Worth a shot.
If it were a bug or a 'glitch' it would be happening to everyone. Everyone would be getting stuck there.

im also getting the same troubble , and someone told me to re-load the bunfire before that part but it doesnt help to me

Jump lil Lara ... That's what you should do...

The game always triggers the same situations:

1.- You jump and everything is fine
2.- You jump and something breaks, so you must jump again
3.- You jump and fail, so you must press the action key to grab the edge.
4.- All the previous cases together, in random order.

Actually I am pretty sure I already figured out why it isn't working, the game is giving me broken assets

The boards where I have to jump on don't have a railing for me, in that video they clearly show a railing. Since it doesn't have a railing before I jump then it's broken and isn't scripted to work

Also it is a glitch since it's not supposed to happen which is what a script is, just cause it doesn't happen to everyone doesn't mean it isn't a glitch

If you don't see some of the graphics in the game, Moo Neko, that's probably something with your installation or your graphics settings. Verify the game files, turn your graphics down, or try re-installing.

This is not what the word Glitch in gaming has been defined as since 1980s when computers started becoming popular and people started gaming on them. I can understand it's possible most gamers today weren't even born then. If that's the case...education for you. This is not a "Glitch" as the word has been used in gaming for 40 or more years.

A script is a series of code that does something specific (an action, not display graphics). So your personal definition of what a script is is confusing too because what you seem to think a script is is not what a script is. Neither the OPs problem or your report of graphics not showing up is a script error. If it was a script error everyone would be experiencing the same thing because we all get the same exact scripts.

It is also not a "bug" because it's not happening to everyone. Bugs happen to everyone. I've completed the game on Easy and got past this part the same way it shows getting past it in the video I linked. This game has sold 7 million copies. Only 2 people are reporting not being able to get past this. Definitely not a bug. It's most likely operator error or something going on with your computer and those other two users computers.

I just verified the files and a 4.4 Gb download started what the hell

The verification process replaces files that are missing or corrupt. It's downloading files that were either missing or corrupt. It's possible that if you just got the game while it was free your installation was missing some things because the servers are and have been busy due to a lot of people being home, quarantined and self isolating, because of the current virus pandemic.

Lol welp did the verifying, game was already on the lowest options, and even reinstalled it, all end up doing nothing

Unless there is something else to do then it will just stay in the uninstalled status
