No GOTY version with all DLC?

I just added the game to my Steam account and didn't get any dlc with it. Was it an error?

EDIT: The original Steam announcement said they were giving the GOTY edition of the game for free and now they just changed it to the regular version.

I've contacted Square's support requesting that they give away the GOTY version like they promised.

As far as I'm aware that's intentional. Bought it ages ago and to be fair, I think the only DLC you really need (if any at all) is "Tomb of the Lost Adventurer". It adds an extra tomb to explore with one more or less elaborate puzzle (pretty much like the other tombs).

All other DLCs are either multiplayer skins and/or multiplayer maps. Never bothered with the MP aspect though.

UPDATE: square enix changed it to the regular edition. Guess they made a mistake.Got us all bamboozled. You're better off just getting it on steam. If you already ordered off the square enix site give it to a friend i guess.

Looking at the entries on the STEAMDB it's pretty clear that the giveaway currently only gives the main game i.e. 443301:

A GOTY edition of the game does exist (probably for retail/third party key sellers) but it's not shown on the Steam store page i.e. 49783:

So either this is an oversight on their part and the Steam store page needs to change OR
It's intentional that redeeming here gives you only the base game OR
The Square Enix site is giving the GOTY edition.

My game keys on the Square Enix site still show the following message:

Your key is being processed and it will be available here soon or when the product is released.

Making them aware of this via Twitter, etc would be the best course of action.
Having claimed it through the Steam client I'd expect to be able to enter the keys if/when they're provided and any missing content should be added.

I think they've made a bit of a balls of it - to be honest.

The US site has been updated - "Tomb Raider Definitive Edition" - which doesn't exist - has changed to "Tomb Raider"

I was one of those folks but honestly I wouldn't be surprised if they just end up giving them the regular version.

Will see though because right now my key is still processing and it just says "Tomb Raider"

It looks like they've edited the description & picture in the steam announcement and at least partially corrected both Square Enix regional store pages.

Basic edition it is most likely.

From what I know that's false advertising which is illegal. I just contacted Square's support about it and I recommend others do the same.

you should be thankful to them even if they give you a free one level demo. but yeah i suggest that you make a change.org petition to sue the company for not giving you the full version
