any clue?
When it does not run on your installation you got a local problem you need to fix. Check the file "TombRaider.log" in your documents, perhaps it gives you a clue what's wrong.
i just re- install the directX from redist folder in tomb raider and updated my gpu driver, and still can;t run the game, i did the log it just stopped at Mounted PATCH2.000....
shall i re-download and re-install it?
so its something local .
try updating windows , gpu driver to latest version .
if still doesnt work . may be deleting local game data and reinstalling the game might work .
The game still won't run bro, i don't have any clue how to solve it
I do, my pc has 2nd gen i5 and has 4 gb of ram and gt 650
It seems the game can't identify your gpu because that's what's next in the log:
..
Mounted PATCH2.000

[Render] PCDeviceManager constructor end

Since you already ran the DirectX redist that came with the game it could be a registry problem. I'd do:
- download DDU and the latest nVidia driver of the 375, 372 or 368 branch
- set Win10 to NOT automatically install device drivers -> right-click Start -> Control Panel -> System -> Advanced Settings -> Hardware tab -> Device Installaton -> click "No" button -> save changes
- run DDU to remove and clean up all current and old driver info
- do all requested reboots
- install the downloaded nvidia driver
i have same build as you bro (win 10 pro build 14393,479) , somehow i'll try the suggestion that been written above,it might work.. i hope haha
haha, maybe is this i have the old gen processor & gpu that the game won't run? ahahaha
